Reader Submission: Gas Money for Ramadhan Tip #3 Ride Share  We may have all heard of this term. But how much do we implement it? Team up with a few people and create a carpool group. Everyone can either pitch in a few bucks to pay for gas. Another option is to have each member of the group select days to drive. Either way, it’s a whole lot cheaper plus may be a kind deed to perform during Ramadhan.

Ramadhan is approaching. With gas prices the highest they’ve ever been, will you have enough gas money to make it to taraweeh prayers?

Watch for Tip #4 next week Insha’Allah.

Stocking Up in the Kitchen
Each year I stock my shelves in preparation for Ramadhaan. I start doing this as much as 3 months ahead of the month of fasting. I shop early like this to save time. Plus, it also allows me take advantage of sales and coupons to save money.

Here is a quick list of dry goods to purchase now so you won’t have to later:
Rice, lentils, beans, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, flours, dry milk, dry fruit, etc.
