Stocking Up in the Kitchen
Each year I stock my shelves in preparation for Ramadhaan. I start doing this as much as 3 months ahead of the month of fasting. I shop early like this to save time. Plus, it also allows me take advantage of sales and coupons to save money.
Here is a quick list of dry goods to purchase now so you won’t have to later: Rice, lentils, beans, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, flours, dry milk, dry fruit, etc.

Take time to review your menus, meal plans and double check the pantry and fridge. Make sure you have the spices and extracts you need for any dish you don’t prepare on a regular basis.
